The Competition
 
Since 1989, the international Lied competition takes place every two years in October at the Berlin University of Arts. It is named after Paula Salomon-Lindberg (1897 – 2001) who initiated the competition.
 
The competition takes place from 7th to 10th October 2015 at the Berlin University of Arts.
Competition location: Konzertsaal . Hardenbergstraße / Fasanenstraße . Berlin-Charlottenburg
All concerts are free to the public.
 
Those entitled to enter are students of singing as well as their student pianists registered at colleges of music and comparable institutes Europe-wide and from Israel.
 
 
"Herbstgefühle" - Concert of the finalists
Saturday, 10th October 2015, 8 p.m.
 
The concert of the finalists of the competition "Das Lied" takes place in the scope of the "Musikalischer Herbst" (musical autumn) of the UdK Berlin. The finalists will present their Repertoire of Lieder with texts written by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and a section of of 20th and 21st century Lieder.
 
Free entrance.
